Who We Are
Our mission is to build trust and credibility for our socialist vision by practicing solidarity not charity. We do this through building community and organizing with the people we serve, to hear what needs they have and to address the violent ways that capitalism has affected them. With our work we prioritize conversation and education so that we can develop ourselves and each other to be effective leaders towards a better future.
We cook and distribute meals on the second Saturday of every month. Meals usually get distributed to the fridges around 1-2pm.
Members are welcome to join any cooks! Reach out to mawgchattdsa@gmail.com if you are interested in joining us or want to be added to the MAWG Signal chat. Signups are sent out in the chat the week of the cook.

We have also been expanding to weekly water distributions, and have been organizing to be able to provide requested supplies and materials to our neighbors in a sustainable way.
